DRHC Charity Partners

Our Friends and Experts in Emergency Dog Transport, Medical Care, and Sheltering

The We Love Doggos Charity is a non-profit on a mission to make the world a better place for dogs. We do that best by finding, vetting and supporting dog welfare organizations with proven track records who specialize in what we consider to be three of the most critical dog rescue areas: emergency dog transport, medical treatment and sheltering.

What kind and how much support do they receive?

After a thorough vetting process each successful nominated charity receives varying level of financial support based on their demonstrated need and ability to consistently save the most at-risk dogs each year. Each charity also receives the full support of not only The Dog Rescue Heroes Club, but tens of thousands of other community members we affectionately call The We Love Doggos Packo, or "The Packo" for short.

This support shows up in numerous different ways including helping to foster and/or place at risk dogs, attending and otherwise supporting partner-led online and in-person events, funding special project and initiatives and more!

How you can help

The easiest and most effective way to help is to make a donation directly to the charity. We NEVER collect donations on their behalf, but will direct you below to the best location to make sure your contribution actually makes it to the charity.

Alternately, we would love to have you as an active member of The Hero Club where you will receive updates on partner activities, interact with other members and be involved directly with the charities if you wish.

And finally...

The problems facing the dog rescue world are massive. Every day across America an average of 1,000 perfectly healthy dogs are euthanized. Together with our community and our AMAZING DRHC Charity Partners we ARE making the world a better place for dogs.

PARTNER PROJECT:
Save a Shelter - Improving the facilities and resources to save rescue dogs.

Located in Eureka, Montana, The Tobacco Valley Animal Shelter was responsible for saving and placing over 700 dogs in 2022 and 2023. Located in rural northwest Montana, this shelter is often the last chance for neglected, abused and at-risk dogs.

The Tobacco Valley Animal Shelter has saved nearly 9,300 dogs and spayed 5,000 more since opening their doors in 2008. Prior to that, Lincoln County had only kill shelters. Dogs that were not claimed in 3 days were euthanized. Now, instead, they are turned over to TVAS!

Wendy, the Facility Manager led a campaign 12 years ago to get the shelter built and works tirelessly with her team of 7 employees and volunteers rescue, re-habilitate, nurture and place our furry friends 365 days a year.

South Ogden Animal Services

🐕 Doggos Saved Annually

As a small but mighty shelter serving three cities, South Ogden Animal Services operates with just seven dog kennels and seven cat cages. To keep lost pets safe and find them loving homes, they rely on the support of their community.

Their mission is clear—no healthy animal should ever face euthanasia. But they can’t do it alone. Spaying and neutering pets is the most important step in controlling overpopulation and ensuring healthier animals. Vaccinating, microchipping, and keeping pets secure at all times also play a vital role in their life-saving efforts.

Every pet parent can make a difference. By practicing responsible pet ownership, we can work together to create a safer, healthier future for all companion animals.
