When we heard that the pups at Tobacco Valley Animal Shelter in Montana had no escape from the scorching sun or freezing winters, we knew we had to act! Enter Operation PUP-avilion: a mission to build a shady, cozy retreat for these deserving doggos.

With the help of our Dog Rescue Heroes Club, we rallied a team, braved the 90-degree heat, and got to work! Over three visits (with plenty of curious pups supervising), we built a state-of-the-art doggy gazebo—a game-changer for the shelter.

Now, thanks to our amazing pack, these dogs have a safe, comfy spot to rest year-round. To celebrate this pawsome achievement, we placed a special Hero Club plaque inside—so every tail wag in the shade is a reminder of the love that built it! 

When our rescue PAWrtners at The Animal Pad in San Diego faced the overwhelming task of caring for 380+ rescued doggos from a devastating hoarding situation in Mexico, we knew we had to jump into action. 

These dogs had been through unimaginable neglect and desperately needed food, medical care, and a safe place to heal. But this mission had an even deeper meaning for the We Love Doggos Charity team.

We launched Huck’s Heroes, a heartfelt raffle fundraiser dedicated to the memory of Huckleberry, a special-needs pup with spina bifida who stole our hearts. Huck was a dog that many would have overlooked, but Packo Leader Terry Williamson gave him a chance—and a set of wheels—to live his best life. His story is a reminder that every dog deserves a hero.

Thanks to our incredible Hero Club community, we raised the funds needed to provide ongoing monthly support for The Animal Pad and the hundreds of dogs in their care. These contributions help cover food, medical expenses, and everything these doggos need to find their fur-ever homes.

Huck’s spirit lives on in every rescue we help, proving that with love, compassion, and a little extra care, every pup can have the happy life they deserve.
