Freedom Ride is our program dedicated to saving dogs from kill shelters and transporting them to safety. Partnering with The Underdog Railroad, we travel alongside rescue teams, picking up dogs from Northern California shelters and bringing them to foster families or new forever homes. 

Each journey can span hundreds of miles, but it’s always worth it to know that we are giving these dogs a second chance at life. 

This program provides these dogs with hope and an opportunity to find loving families, often just hours before they would otherwise be euthanized.

Heroes Village is a life-changing project funded by the Dog Rescue Heroes Club to provide safe, warm, and dry housing for rescue dogs at La Dulce Vida Dog Rescue in Tijuana, Mexico. 

Before this project, these dogs lived outside in the dirt, exposed to harsh weather with no real shelter. Now, we’re building three Gigantic Doghouses, each designed to house multiple rescue dogs in a clean, secure environment where they can heal and thrive. With the support of our Heroes, we’re giving these dogs the comfort and care they’ve never had—because every dog deserves a safe place to call home. Viva Los Doggos is our mission to Ensenada, Mexico, where we bring vital veterinary services to street dogs and families who cannot afford care. 

Through vaccination clinics, veterinary check-ups, and spay and neuter programs, we help improve the health and well-being of dogs in underserved communities. 

We partner with local veterinarians and volunteers to ensure that even the most remote areas receive the care they desperately need. 

Our goal is to reduce the number of homeless dogs, control the spread of disease, and ensure every dog has access to the care they need.

Spay It Forward is our ongoing mission to provide free spay and neuter services to the underprivileged community of Ensenada, Mexico. In partnership with Los Adoptables, we fund a community-wide clinic that gives dogs the critical care they need to live healthier, happier lives. 

Families from all over the area arrive early and stay all day, ensuring their beloved pets receive proper medical attention. By reducing overpopulation and preventing unwanted litters, Spay It Forward helps break the cycle of homelessness and suffering for countless dogs. 

Together, we’re making a lasting impact—one pet, one family, and one community at a time.

Leashes Of Love is our donation campaign providing collars and leashes to impoverished communities and underfunded shelters. 

By equipping dogs with proper collars and leashes, we help ensure they can be safely taken anywhere they need to go, whether it's for a walk, vet visit, or adoption event. This simple yet impactful initiative gives dogs and their families greater freedom and security, promoting responsible dog ownership. We also aim to reduce the number of stray dogs by encouraging pet owners to keep their dogs safely leashed when outside.

Save-A-Shelter focuses on improving the facilities and resources of dog shelters, empowering them to rescue and care for more dogs. 

Our hands-on assistance includes renovations, shelter upgrades, and providing critical tools and supplies, from kennels to medical equipment. We work closely with shelter staff to identify the most urgent needs and implement changes that will have the biggest impact. 

By enhancing these environments, we help create safer, healthier spaces where dogs can thrive while they await their forever homes.

Spotlight Rescues showcase just a few of the stories of dogs who have been saved from euthanasia and placed into loving homes. 

We share the incredible journeys of these Spotlight Rescue Dogs to inspire others and bring attention to dogs still in need of placement. Each story highlights the resilience and spirit of these animals, as well as the heroic efforts of the people who rescued them. Through these efforts, we connect at-risk dogs with foster families and forever homes, giving them a new lease on life. 

Our goal is to raise awareness and motivate more people to get involved in saving dogs who deserve a second chance.
